By protecting and improving our environment, the communities where we do business and the students we serve, Sodexo makes every day a better day and every tomorrow a better tomorrow.

Culinary Council

councilOfficially established in 2014, the Culinary Council acts as a liaison between Sodexo dining services and Western students. Students on the council can voice their opinions; learn more about Sodexo dining services and what it has to offer, while enjoying new culinary experiences.

The Culinary Council meets once a month in the Student Center Restaurant. Students are able to sit down with Sodexo managers, Campus interns, Dr. Paul Simon and Dr. Keith Betts and discuss the food services on campus. At each meeting, we sample a few delicious items from Westwind Catering's seasonal menus.

Each semester, we take a field trip to one of our food purveyors and get a behind the scenes look at the operations. Students will also participate in secret shopping experience at one of our dining locations.

The Culinary Council is a great way to meet other students and share a love of food!
